Reuse last year’s ballots and candidates for a new draft without dragging over the old voter list.

When clone helps
Annual AGMs often look almost the same year to year. Clone election (on the election details header) creates a new draft titled like the original with “(copy)” appended. Ballots, candidates, and many settings come across so you are not rebuilding the structure from scratch.
After you clone
The voter list and invite history are not copied, so add this year’s roll. Scheduled start and end dates are copied from the source, so update them on the new draft, then load voters and use Preview ballot before you confirm or open.
