Accessibility statement

SIMPLEVOTE LTD (Company No. 17251484), registered in England and Wales · Last updated 2026-07-17 · info@simplevote.org

SIMPLEVOTE LTD wants voters and election managers to be able to use the service with assistive technologies, keyboard navigation, zoom and varied display preferences. This is a statement of intent and current support, not a claim of formal WCAG certification or complete conformance.

What we support

  • Semantic headings, labels and landmarks across core flows.
  • Keyboard-operable controls and visible focus treatment.
  • Responsive layouts and browser zoom/reflow on public and voter pages.
  • Light and dark display modes and adjustable text size on voting interfaces where available.
  • Text alternatives for meaningful product imagery where provided.

Known limitations

  • Customer-supplied candidate content, images, video captions, colour choices and remote documents may not meet accessibility standards.
  • Drag-and-drop ranking and some complex tables may be more difficult with certain assistive technologies; alternative Add/remove controls should be used where available.
  • Third-party YouTube, TidyCal, Stripe and support experiences have their own accessibility characteristics.
  • No independent WCAG 2.2 audit or accessibility certification is claimed on this page.

Report a barrier

Email info@simplevote.org with the page, task, browser and assistive technology. If an election is time-sensitive, also contact the organisation running it so they can offer a reasonable alternative. We acknowledge reports and investigate them; timelines depend on severity and any live election schedule.
